This piece parallels Stacey Abrams with Dr. Strange in the MCU due to both bring thrust by heartbreak into a life’s mission to help others. Mrs. Abrams’ work to end voter suppression heralds back to Martin Luther King Jr’s work in Georgia and is echoed in the corners of this piece.
