Did you know Muhammad Ali was in a comic? In 1978, DC Comics released “Fight to Save Earth From Star Warriors, Superman vs Muhammad”. In this comic Muhammad Ali defeats Superman in a boxing match. Not only a champion in the ring Muhammad Ali was a champion and pioneer for civil rights.

Originally featured in the collection “All I Need is One Mic” this piece was inspired by the following quote from Ali, “I hated every minute of training, but I said don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion”. It is a testament to how if we train and put our minds to it, we can all be great.
